From Artist to Teaching Artist

Do you have a creative practice?

Are you interested in learning how to teach through the arts?

A 3-part online workshop program that introduces artists to the field of teaching artistry.

Workshop Overview:

Teaching Artists Connect is excited to offer From Artist to Teaching Artist, a free and unique learning opportunity to artists interested in learning how to teach through the arts.
Open to artists of all disciplines.
Digital resources will be provided at the end of the training.

*Disciplines can include visual arts, textiles, ceramics, music, theater, writing, performance, dance, choreography, photography, etc.

Over the course of 3 x 2hr-long sessions, we will:

Understand how, where, and who teaching artists work with.
Build community and network with peers in a supportive and confidential environment.
Leave with a toolkit of creative strategies in the teaching artist field.
Explore how to integrate your art and teaching practice more fully.
Learn how to create and implement joyful arts experiences.
Identify our strengths and learn how to build on them.
Consider effective practices in marketing, communication, and partnerships.
